Good morning and may God bless you richly. Happy Monday. Let’s rise and proclaim the name of the Lord. 


The world as we know it has changed immensely as a result of the subset of the Information Age called the Social Media influx. 


We are now more connected than ever and this connectivity is causing more depression, obsession, disagreement, and disconnection than at any time in history, and all those thing spring forth from the seeds of jealousy. 


This is a result of the human tendency to compare ourselves to others. Comparing our resources, abilities, intelligence, possessions and even our looks rests in a place established by the enemy, when he taught Eve to become jealous of not only the position of Adam but of the Lord Himself. 


The aforementioned tendency is so great that only the Lord can remove from us the inherent snares, traps and blind curbs. 


Self worth is ultra important without the devaluing of others, so given our tendency we must adhere to and submit to an examination by the Lord. He gives you the root of your heart and displays what is even unknowingly hidden within us. 


The only standard that is worthy of our time to compare ourselves is that set by the Lord. And by His measure should we strive.

His mission had multiple purposes, and I will highlight two of them. First, we needed an example of righteousness—someone conceived without sin and who lived a sinless life. Next, because of His immaculate conception and sinless existence, He was qualified to be sacrificed. This requirement was too great for sinful man to fulfill.
