Good morning God bless you and happy Monday. For the last 8 months every time Corona Virus and or COVID-19 has been mentioned the entire name has been expressed. Well COVID and Corona has arrived. 


Think about it when we say MJ everyone knows you are talking about Michael Jordan, when you say Madonna, Prince, or Cher all know who you are speaking of...even though many others may share the same first  name.


The other day I was in Kroger and their PA system was blaring its usual advertisements of specials, etc.  


After the barrage of offers, came the public service announcement about the general topic which need not be identified. 


In the warning COVID was called by one name and though many others share the name as an identity there was no confusion of what they were talking about when they said avoid the VIRUS. 


We know that fear has taken a turn for the worst when one of its minions is known by one name, universally known and universally communicated. 


Now there is no comparing the name against the name above all names, but let’s really look at this in perspective to what God says about fear. 


I have not given you the spirit of fear. 


No this is not to encourage you not to be cautious but being cautious doesn’t have to equate to being fearful. 


God has not allotted to us fear, fear is never an adjective used to describe God and if we are made in His image it is not a description of us. 


So wear your mask, sanitize your hands, sneeze into your elbow, but do not fear.
