And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. -Romans 12:2

Good morning and God bless you.  Yesterday while backing into the driveway with my lawn trailer, I saw my neighbor outside washing his car while watching me.  The task was made more difficult because someone had parked directly across from my driveway.

But nevertheless I completed the task of straightening the trailer to offload my riding mower.

I spoke and the neighbor said, “how did you do that, (back the trailer) I’d be still trying to figure it out?”

I then referred him to the process of backing, meaning to turn the trailer right, you turned the steering wheel left and vice versa. Then I said it requires changing your thinking.

The scripture above rushed into my mind. The world has one vision, but the kingdom another. What seems logical in the natural  makes no sense in the spirit.

Consider Christ saying no longer an eye for an eye, that is so illogical to natural thinking. But since God’s ways and thoughts are not ours, turning left to go right begins to make sense.

The only way to live is kingdom thinking and the only way to see God is kingdom living and to do both, we must renew our mind.
