Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. -1 Corinthians 13:1

Good morning and God bless you. I am somewhat dismayed at the condition of the hearts of some who profess Christ.

Professing him means at all time, not just until someone irks your soul. We have far too many fair weather saints.

The scripture above begins to unravel the clothing many are hiding in. God who gives gifts without repentance, gave to Paul the grip to pull and he pulled effectively.

All of the smoke screens used by the gifted in the body revealed as the wind of holiness blows away the smoke and the heart is revealed.

The first three verses show charitable acts without a charitable heart is mindless self promotion and a reward to self void of godliness.

What is really revealed is that flesh maintains a foothold in the life ofthose described. In our walk the flesh must die not annually, not at a funeral, not weekly in a service where you connect with the sermon, but daily and might I add you have to keep a vigil over the carcass, a 24 hour watch😝
